DE57 + Ubuntu 10.04.03, HDMi no sound

After installed Ubuntu 10.04.03 to DE57 (Intel GM57) HDMI port. there is no sound from HDMI port. The driver version as below snapshot. (Analog speaker is ok.)


Got realtek audio driver, file name is "LinuxPkg_5.16rc17.tar[1].bz2" then installed to Ubuntu 10.04.03. The driver version as below snapshot.

Choose sound and change hardware to Digital Stereo (HDMI) output. The problem is solved.

For DEX4501, installed Ububtu 10.04. Analog speaker outpout & Digital HDMI output is not functioning. Update ubuntu to latest version (2.6.32-38). Both are OK but if setting sound to analog speaker output then reboot system. "Out of range" message will pop out while boot from HDMI port.

Not to install realtek audio driver 5.16rc25, it will clean your audio driver.

After confirmed DE7000 HDMI Audio Driver RC17 and RC 25 will remove audio device.....
